The 99 are now a 100% money maker for creator Kuwaiti psychologist and entrepreneur Dr Naif Al-Mutawa who thought up the idea whilst in a taxi speaking to his sister about silly fatwas like the one issued by idiots in Saudi Arabia in regards to Pokemon because it was viewed as some sort of filthy Zionist promotion because it displays the Star Of David on swapping cards.
   Dr Naif wrote his comics and they were published in the Muddle East and then translated into a few languages and then wallah! or should I say allah! sold worldwide.  With funding from an Islamic investment bank The 99 was ready to be distributed into some of the most islamic conservative countries, then in 2009 a theme park in Kuwait and a signed contract with Endemol meant The 99 were set to ready to show us how to be loving, generous, kind and Hidden? (lol)
     This wonderful lovey dovey portrayal of life as a muslim is bullshit and I will not be tuning in when it appears on our Australian screens this year via ABC which has acquired the rights to screen the shit. 
    If they want to portray Islam and life as a muslim how about showing them for what they are, vicious, cruel, barbaric and anti anything non muslim is deemed as filth.
